Last, but not least, you will receive extra training with bi-weekly Live Student Masterclasses and bi-weekly Live Q&A sessions - each session is recorded so you do not need to be there LIVE. The course never expires and you can move at any pace you feel comfortable with. You will be supported every step of the way.

  • Bi-Monthly Live Student Masterclass - The calls will discuss sourdough techniques, methods, equations and the science behind sourdough. We also answer YOUR questions at this time. These sessions are recorded and emailed out to listen at your convenience.

    An excellent resource to further my sourdough journey

    I have taken the Sourdough pastry course and it was so helpful. After learning basic sourdough I wanted to develop my skills to try other aspects of baking sourdough. The instructional videos are so helpful to fine tune the intricacies of the sourdough method. I highly recommend the courses and the Sourdough School House staff.

    I treated myself to this course to expand my sourdough repertoire and I’m not disappointed. There are so many great recipes and again Shannon has given great options so it fits easily into my life. I’m such a fan of overnight doughs! The online Facebook group is so helpful and is a great community. Even though I’m based in the uk i feel part of the SSH community.

    I am currently finishing the Sourdough 101 class and cant wait to begin the Pastry course. I am certain it will be just as excellent as the 101 course.

    This is a great class. I learned how to make croissants, danishes, pain au chocolat... Do you know how satisfying it is to serve these goodies to your family ? They will love you even more !

    ...I forgot to mention that I always take digestive enzymes for gluten to make sure I don’t get a bad gluten reaction when I am unsure of gluten content in food. I usually can tolerate small amounts of gluten.

    I have been really enjoying taking the sourdough pastry class this fall. I needed to get my mind off of the pandemic and politics here in the USA and this has been perfect for me! I couldn’t believe that I could make all these fancy pastries on the first try!! I have gluten sensitivities and I was able to eat la brioche, croissant, and chocolate babka. I have the danish class next and I am looking forward to that class., too! I enjoy baking on my own pace and this program is great for how flexible it is for my schedule. Shannon is an awesome teacher and her enthusiasm is contagious!! Super fun class!

    As expected, this course is amazing. I love how I can bake along side Shannon, and it feels like she’s walking me through it step by step.

    Sourdough Pastry Series-best $ i spent!

    This is the best $200 I spent on anything! I LOVE this series. I am only week 1 Day 3, and I already feel comfortable and confident in making more than sourdough loafs. My family LOVES it, too. Shannon's instruction is very thorough, yet easy to follow. The weekly schedule is very useful and doable. I cannot say enough good thing about this course. Thank you!
